Goalkeepers may very well be the most versatile and sometimes most athletic players on any given
team. As the last line of defense they are responsible for keeping opposing teams off the scoreboard. Unfortunately despite their importance, keepers are often neglected when it comes to team training sessions, especially on the youth level. Well that is where GOALSTOPPER ACADEMY comes in.
- Let Goalstopper give you the training you need to succeed.
- Coaches, lets us come to your workouts and train your goalkeepers while you and your assistants work on other aspects of your teams development.
- We will also work with your keepers away from their regular practice sessions to ensure overall development.

Goalstopper academy has trained hundreds of goalkeepers from youth to college level and has done so by teaching the time tested, "Ten Guiding Principles of Goalkeeping". With these principles in place, players are able to put themselves in better position to make more saves. If a keeper is more aware of his/her surroundings on the field and what their role inside the 18 their success rate will be greatly improved. |

"Coach Phil's daily presence during both practices and games made a noticeable difference in the goal keeping ability of my son. Kyle had been a field player for most of his soccer career but was converted to a keeper at the end of his sophomore year. Although he was athletic, he lacked the mindset of a goalie. Kyle benefited from the training and personal interaction with Phil who taught him position specific lessons he would not have learned elsewhere. I believe Phil's daily involvement with my son during his senior year transformed him from an above average keeper to one who has become worthy of all-league honors. Furthermore, Phil continues to be an advocate of Kyle as he pursues his dream of playing soccer in college".
